Sale of Rainmaker Business Technologies to Skymetrix GmbH
Pegasus Capital advised Rainmaker Business Technologies on its sale to strategic acquirer, Skymetrix GmbH. Rainmaker’s software platform enables airlines better understand and manage their operating performance and related costs. Its customer base includes some of the leading airlines in the US and Europe.
Skymetrix offers airlines a cloud-based software platform that enables its customers to control their direct operating costs in areas such as fuel, airport, navigation and ground handling. It is headquartered in Germany and backed by Ventiga Capital, a UK private equity fund.
The transaction was highly strategic for both parties enhancing Skymetrix’s breadth of product offering within the airline software sector and creating a group that serves many of the largest global airlines.
